In the job market, not everyone gets given the right tools and techniques to get started. That is why the Tavistock Institute is developing a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to empower disadvantaged job starters and job seekers to take stock of their talents and work confidently in teams.

Sirris opens new experience center for training operators (part 2)

Sirris will open an experience center for new operator support and learning technologies in March 2023. This consists of two work cells. The first one, a training cell, is designed to train novice operators. The second one, the production cell, simulates an assembly line and is there for operators who already have some more work experience.

Plenty of innovative technologies that support low-skilled people for jobs in industry are being developed. Only: companies are not always familiar with them. Sirris, one of the partners of BHC21, wants to increase the knowledge and skills of companies around technologies by developing a brand new experience center on its site in Kortrijk.

2 Seas area

The Programme area covers the coastal regions along the Southern North Sea and the Channel area. Four different Member States are involved: England, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, and the total area represents a total of 88,000 square kilometres. This makes it one of the largest cross-border Programmes in Europe.

The 2 Seas area is connected by the Channel and the North Sea
